To provide a space that fosters creativity through sharing and developing expertise in a wide range of practical skills, for fun, personal interest and community enhancement.
On Tuesday the 11th June, Makerspace hosted a class of 20 youngsters, learning about 3D Drawing and Printing, Electronic Circuits, Lego Robot Programming and Metal Arts jewelry. They took away many items that they created themselves. Great to see them learning and having fun.

Students must provide their own laptop that is capable of running freely available Blender 2.79b software (we can help you determine if your computer will work if you are interested in the Class)
Class will comprise of modeling, texturing, rigging and animation.
Class will be led by Jessy and Joe
Jessy is from Qualicum Beach and graduated from Kwalikum Secondary School. After attending Art Institute of Burnaby with an Animation Masters Certificate he worked on “Scary Godmother” for Mainframe Studios and then worked for Abhail Films where he modeled, rigged and animated a prosthetic hand. Jessy has a strong drawing 2D and 3D background and excels at most art related projects.
His true passion, is to inspire others to create, and learn how to utilize their ideas and designs inside and outside of a professional atmosphere.
